The Palace on Wheels has for the past few years now been consistently rated as one of the top ten luxury train’s, around the world! It takes you through the magical and splendid forts, palaces and other site-seeing spots of Rajasthan in simply seven days....Luxurious accommodation are the key element within this royal retreat. There are 14 completely air-conditioned coaches of the Palace on wheels. This combined with all deluxe saloons equipped with 4 twin bedded chambers, channel music, intercom, and attached toilets, running hot and cold water, shower and wall-to-wall carpeting. Infact the name Palace on Wheels was derived from its royal background of the coaches. On the Palace on Wheels your journey is full of exuberance, which entails the following:-
- Luggage Collection: The Butler (The Khidmatgars) carries your luggage for you as well as takes care of it.
- Arrival Kit: An arrival kit that consists of stationery items, including a brochure is provided to each and every guest. Apart from this The attendants will be at your service 24/7 in order to cater to every need of yours
- Meals: The Palace on Wheels offers a vast variety in cuisine, to suit every palate - Indian, Rajasthani as well as Continental and Chinese cuisines.
- Mineral Water:The Palace on Wheels provides mineral water to drink all through the journey.
- Newspapers/Magazines:The facility of providing newspapers and magazines along with your morning tea or beverage, if required, is also available.
- Security:All arrangements to ensure security of you as well as your personal belongings have been made in the train itself.
- Toiletries: Toiletries consisting of soap, shampoo and moisturizer are provided in every attached wash-room and are replenished regularly
- Wine:The royal guests onboard the Palace on Wheels are given a complimentary bottle of fine Indian wine!
